| We're running a series of Open Days in June, where we'll be showcasing our lighting, sound and AV equipment for both corporate and leisure events. Everyone is welcome to attend the three Open Days, which take place from 10am to 7pm on consecutive days at three different locations - on Tuesday 4th June we'll be at Takeley near Stansted, on Wednesday 5th June we'll be in Colchester and on Thursday 6th June, you'll find us in Ipswich (full details below). In addition to showcasing a range of products and effects, there'll also be the opportunity to have an informal discussion with one of our skilled project managers as they guide you through the presentations.
Easy on-site parking will be available and a free buffet will be provided each day. We’ll also be running a free prize draw to win a 25% discount off your first event and there'll be smaller additional prizes for individuals. Good planning and logistics contribute to Bourne Leisure’s success |
| Illuminate Design has been working closely with Bourne Leisure over the last two years, providing a completely bespoke technical service, providing re-fits, upgrades and system maintenance. The company's successful relationship with Bourne is due in part to the national coverage it provides, with a team of technicians based throughout the country offering quick response times. Coupled with direct park communication, this allows the company to provide fault-finding over the phone with a technician who knows the equipment and the site, thereby reducing the need for some call out charges. As part of the project, Illuminate Design also created an equipment asset register for the BL Team, which is now continuously updated, together with venue reports highlighting any repairs or upgrades that may be needed. |
Holiday Park Overhauls |
| Two teams of technicians have been travelling the length of the UK carrying out overhauls of lighting and audio systems for the Haven Holidays brand. With each Park having different needs, the set-up and budget had to be adapted to suit each site. The work will conclude with a training and familiarisation programme to all site entertainment managers. |
New floor and technical installation for Jasmin Vardimon |
| Our teams have installed a 10x12m sprung dance floor, together with new audio and lighting systems, in the new creative space for Jasmin Vardimon company. Illuminate Design have an ongoing relationship with the company, who commissioned us to carry out this conversion as part of the ongoing development of their new performance and creative space. Curtains were also installed in the space which was launched in 2012. |
